These guys at Scaled composites and Virgin galactic are some pretty inspirational peoples. The stuff they do makes trying to get a job at Lucasfilm without any prior experience seem almost trivial.

My boy Rick Wawiernia did this Klingon spaceship illustration in 1991 when he was commissioned by Ertl to do the actual model box cover. I think they did use it... I wish I had that box. Rick pretty much taught me everything I know about the paasche VL today.
